Five Strikers Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger Should Target To This Summer

Ligue 1 moneybags to jump the queue for striker.
French big spenders Paris Saint Germain are set to beat Arsenal to the signing of Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema this summer, according to Football Direct News.

Benzema has been a top target for the
Gunners ever since last summer, and with further troubles in front of goal again this season they have been heavily tipped to make a firmer offer for the France international again this time around.
However, despite forming a strong partnership with Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo at the Bernabeu, there are still question marks over his future, with many tipping him to move on as the club prepare another bumper move for Liverpool’s Luis Suarez.
Arsenal are still said to be keen, though reports in both France and Spain have suggested that the Ligue 1 champions will make him an attractive offer to bring him back to his home country.
Benzema moved to Real Madrid from French club Lyon in 2009 and, after a slow start to life in Spain, found himself as one of the league’s deadliest frontmen.

Benzema has bagged himself 24 goals in 50 appearances across all competitions for Real Madrid this season and could yet help his side win an historic treble.
With the north London club set to bring in a new front man to help share the workload with Olivier Giroud at the Emirates for next season, these are the attackers that boss Arsene Wenger is believed to currently be mulling over ….

Luis Suarez Liverpool
Luis Suarez (Liverpool)
The Gunners spent most of last summer’s transfer window trying to lure the coveted Uruguay international from Anfield to the Emirates.
However, in the end the club made a right mess of their attempts to trigger the 27-year-old’s release clause in his contract with the Reds, and so the proposed £40m move never took place.
But boss Arsene Wenger is known to still be a huge admirer of the player and is expected to be closely monitoring Suarez’s movements in this summer’s transfer window ahead of re-igniting his interest in the South American.

Loic Remy Newcastle United

The highly rated QPR forward has just ended his successful season-long loan spell with Newcastle United, although the west London club are still understood to be keen to offload Remy when the summer transfer window reopens in order to further cut costs at Loftus Road next season.
And with the France international having also recently been spotted in the crowd at the Emirates watching an
Mario Mandzukic Bayern Munich

Rumours have been rife of late that the red-hot Croatia international will soon be on his way out of the Bundesliga champions now that deadly Poland international Robert Lewandowski is on his way to the Allianz Arena from arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund.
And if that is to be the case, then expect the north Londoners to push the boat out this summer in order to try to lure the 27-year-old to the capital, with Wenger known to be a huge fan of the marksman, although Arsenal will not be the only team in Europe however trying to persuade Mandzukic to join them for next season.
Julian Draxler Schalke

The Gunners have been chasing the coveted young Germany international for over a year now, with the Premier League giants coming desperately close to signing the 20-year-old in the January transfer window, only for the two clubs to be unable to reach an agreement over a suitable price for the player.
However, it is widely assumed though that Wenger will for Draxler at some point this summer and what is more, the experienced trainer intends to convert the attacking midfielder into a striker next season if he does succeed in landing the starlet.
