Man United are closing in on a deal to sign Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas with the Old Trafford side already in talks with the Nou Camp side.

This is perhaps all the more hard for the cultured attacker to take given he finished the campaign as the club’s leading assist maker and also racked up 13 goals in all competitions.
Man United will hope that the installing of a respected manager like Louis van Gaal will help the club challenge for top talents this summer, this being all the more relevant given there is no Champions League action on offer for any prospective target.
